The Listening Training

A new Listening Training I starts on 23rd February 2026 at 5.30 UK time and the following mondays (four weeks, 75 minutes each). Value: £160/ 160€

This Listening Training (two units of 4 lessons each) is unique in that it is based on developing the capacities in the listener as well as inner freedom in the speaker.  There is a marked difference between this and other listening courses.

Typically, listening training and books on listening and communication involve guidance on how to behave, what to say, and how to prompt the speaker to speak. This training demonstrates how prompts, interjections of any kind, encouraging noises and encouraging behaviour manipulate the speaker. 

Ultimately, the listener learns to drop their own thoughts to focus on fearless, uninterrupted listening.

Selfless listening is a superpower that can be used for our own advantage, but also as a gift for the advantage of others. As parents, partners, coaches and as leaders we can create a space through listening in which solutions, and inspiration can emerge.

Listening for Decision Making (Listening Training II)

Building on the first training, this particular way of listening is used here to facilitate group dicision making. A specially designed sequence of steps enables the group to create a space in which the best solution – the best decision – can arise.

Suitable for decision making in private and professional partnerships and groups, as well as the support of decision making processes in coaching etc.
